Last Stop Clubhouse - AA, NA
2440 Kensington Ave. - Philadelphia
Established in 2001 by its founder Eddie Z., the Last Stop has continually contributed to the sustained recovery of many people. This website was started to help expand the fellowship of both the Last Stop and Getting Well Under The El and aid in the recovery of even more people.
On Monday nights we serve spaghetti, Wednesday is hotdog night, every Friday night we eat pizza, and after the Saturday night meeting we break out the chichi and make banana split sundaes. Everyone is welcome to come and eat with us on those nights at no cost. On Friday and Saturday nights we watch movies.
Even though we serve dinner many nights a week, we are not a shelter. The primary reason we exist is to help alcoholics and drug addicts recover from their diseases, and that is only if they want us to.
Our address is 2440 Kensington Ave., in Northeast Philadelphia, PA (a map of our location can be found by clicking the "location" link in the header). The picture to the top left on this page is of the front of our building, and the initials of the fellowships that hold meetings here are on the windows. We are a couple blocks away from the York-Dauphin El stop.
AA Meetings are held twice daily at 12 noon and 8:00 pm, and at 11:59pm on Friday and Saturday nights. NA meetings are held at 10:00 am and 6:00 pm every day. Morning meditation starts at 7am Monday to Friday, and 8am on Saturdays and Sundays. A list of all meetings and their formats can be found by clicking the "meetings" link at the top.
